City Giftcard
A project to design the city of Hasselt and Kortrijk gift cards, aligning with each city’s branding to promote tourism and celebrate their uniqueness.
For this project, I was responsible for designing the gift cards for the cities of Hasselt and Kortrijk, ensuring they aligned with each city’s branding to enhance local identity, promote tourism, and strengthen their appeal to residents and visitors.
As lead designer, I collaborated closely with the project lead and representatives from the Belgium branch.
Kortrijk is the largest city in the province of Kortrijk Region of Belgium. Meanwhile, Hasselt is the capital and largest city of the province of Limburg in the Flemish Region of Belgium.
When designing, what inspires me is each city’s unique characteristics, historic landmarks, and its existing brand colours.

I created custom illustrations for both cities. Although the projects were not simultaneous, the Kortrijk project manager like the design so much that they requested a similar approach for the Hasselt tender, while still incorporating each city’s unique style and branding.
